About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead generation: Proactively and systematically identify target retail customers (online & brick-and-mortar) via LinkedIn, trade shows and business networks
  • Outreach with energy: Whether in person, in writing, by phone or video chat — you persuade with strong arguments and remain hungry for success
  • Consultative selling: Conduct discovery calls with product demos to develop tailored solution concepts together with the customer
  • Goal-oriented closing: From preparing proposals, through price and contract negotiations, to deal closing
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain customer relationships. You know how to win people over and recognize the right moment to make a sale
  • Reporting & forecasting: Systematic, structured pipeline management in HubSpot CRM, including potential analysis and regular sales reports
  • Team collaboration: Close coordination with Marketing, Customer Success and the Product team to continuously optimize our homie solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree, ideally in business, and/or completed commercial training
  • At least 2–3 years' professional experience in B2B sales, preferably (but not required) in a technology or SaaS company
  • Proven sales achievements will move you up our candidate list
  • Persuasiveness & persistence: You never lose the drive to close deals successfully
  • Target- and closing-oriented: You keep sales targets in focus and continuously adapt your customer acquisition strategies to the situation
  • Empathy & relationship skills: You enjoy communicating with others and build trust quickly. You listen and understand customer needs
  • Strong language skills: Confident in German and English (written & spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Analytical thinking: You enjoy systematic market and potential analysis and are comfortable using CRM and reporting tools
  • Initiative & self-organization: You work in a structured way in a remote setting and deliver results independently
  • Efficient working style: You make appropriate use of AI tools and stay curious about new possibilities
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for AI technology
