About the role
- QA and regression-test software for Hometap’s homeowner platform and internal systems
- Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) programs with internal stakeholders
- Help to architect, build, and continuously extend automated regression testing suite
- Design solutions to automate testing of third-party integrations
- Collaborate closely with DevOps for testing environments and build pipelines
- Suggest and evaluate new technologies and tools for the QA Team
- Partner with the Product team to acceptance-test new features
- Be a key stakeholder in release readiness validation
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in web application testing
- Strong command of QA processes, testing methodologies, and best practices
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with web QA automation tools and frameworks
- Experience conducting code reviews of test automation code
- Proficiency in JavaScript for writing automated tests
- Experience implementing continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with API testing and UI/UX testing
- Ability to partner with product managers to translate feature requirements
- Meaningful experience using AI-assisted development tools
