About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contacting and managing the accounts of past residents who owe AMH a balance
Negotiating repayment terms and setting up payment arrangements
Disputing charges and ensuring payments are made in accordance with signed agreements
Documenting activity in CRM database
Performing administrative duties such as noting accounts, managing profiles, and updating records
Attending meetings and participating in growth and development opportunities including coaching and attending training

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of Collections experience, preferably in a call center environment
Experience with customer service software applications
Understanding of VOIP phone systems
Knowledge of Real Estate or Property Management industry preferred
Intermediate PC and MS Office skills
Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus
Excellent problem-solving, organization, time management, conflict resolution, and communication skills
The ability to maintain confidentiality
