About the role
- Contacting and managing the accounts of past residents who owe AMH a balance
- Negotiating repayment terms and setting up payment arrangements
- Disputing charges and ensuring payments are made in accordance with signed agreements
- Documenting activity in CRM database
- Performing administrative duties such as noting accounts, managing profiles, and updating records
- Attending meetings and participating in growth and development opportunities including coaching and attending training
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of Collections experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Experience with customer service software applications
- Understanding of VOIP phone systems
- Knowledge of Real Estate or Property Management industry preferred
- Intermediate PC and MS Office skills
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, time management, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality
