About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensuring that HCN charts are audit-ready, organized in electronic and physical files, and meet city, state and federal compliance standards.
Running Operations Reports in AVATAR and updating internal documentation tracking systems
Holding weekly drop-in assistance times for clinicians who need tutoring in documentation
Providing training to staff and interns on documentation standards and best practices, including contributing to and updating the clinical training manual.
Ongoing chart review-both paper and electronic records in AVATAR
Attendance at staff meetings
Attending meetings and trainings as required by SFDPH
Weekly supervision with QA Associate Director
Weekly Program Utilization Review and Quality Control (PURQC) Committee meeting with Quality Associate Director.
Assist with monthly onsite peer chart review with clinical staff and interns

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two years post graduate experience; on track with licensure; registered with BBS
Two years of experience working with Medi-Cal documentation particularly with San Francisco systems care
Experience with AVATAR Electronic system highly preferred
Experience providing therapy to children and families
People of Color, Allies of People of Color strongly encouraged to apply
