Account Executive
Homebase (YC W21)Account Executive managing full sales cycle with high-volume prospecting for small businesses. Collaborating with sales teams and leveraging AI tools in a hybrid work environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
- Manage a mix of inbound leads and self-generated outbound opportunities
- Execute a high-volume prospecting strategy, including 75+ outbound calls daily while effectively managing inbound demand
- Conduct consultative sales conversations with small business owners and operators
- Partner with SDR teams to maximize conversion and pipeline creation
- Use AI and automation tools to increase productivity, improve outreach effectiveness, and reduce administrative work
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, and opportunity management
- Act with urgency and a strong bias toward action in a high-velocity environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of quota-carrying Saas selling experience
- Eager to advance through learning and adapting, you thrive on constructive feedback and are committed to continuous self-improvement.
- Experience managing both inbound and outbound sales motions
- Proven success generating pipeline through proactive prospecting
- Comfortable maintaining 75+ outbound dials daily alongside inbound lead management
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong hunter mentality balanced with consultative selling skills
- High energy, resilience, competitiveness, and accountability
- Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve productivity and customer engagement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, performance-oriented environment
