About the role
- You take full ownership of home24's business in the Netherlands, including revenue, profitability, and cost control, to drive our success in the market
- You develop and execute a local growth strategy that aligns with home24's overall business goals
- You collaborate within a cross-functional country team across Sales, Pricing, Inventory, and Merchandising
- You identify and capitalize on market trends, opportunities, and customer needs to expand our local presence
- You manage and optimize the local product assortment, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns to maximize performance
- You work closely with central functions such as Marketing, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- You hold a degree in E‑Commerce, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field
- You have several years of experience in a similar role with country responsibility, ideally within e‑commerce, retail, or FMCG
- You have a deep understanding of the Dutch e‑commerce market, including local consumer behavior and market dynamics
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies
- You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working in a matrix organization
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-oriented approach
- You are fluent in Dutch (at least B2 level) and English
