About the role
- Operational and strategic management of the warehouse area within the outlet, ensuring smooth processes
- Coordination and supervision of incoming goods – from receipt and assembly to presentation on the sales floor
- Management and optimization of the returns area for parcels and large furniture items
- Organization of furniture assembly and refurbishment for the sales floor, including hands-on participation
- Preparation of duty rosters for the warehouse team and fostering a positive, motivating work environment
- Managing the warehouse using relevant KPIs, analyzing efficiency and initiating measures when deviations occur
- Contributing ideas for continuous improvement of processes and the work environment
- Regular coordination with site and sales management to ensure optimal integration of warehouse and sales floor
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in logistics or skilled trades, ideally in furniture or retail
- Previous experience leading teams and enjoyment in motivating and developing employees
- Strong organizational skills with a structured, independent working style and a pronounced hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication skills, enjoyment of collaboration with different departments, and experience managing processes via key performance indicators
- Willingness to critically review existing processes, proactively contribute ideas, and good IT skills
