About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Preliminary posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
- Checking invoices for formal requirements (in particular compliance with the German VAT Act — UStG)
- Management of OPOS (open items), cash records and travel expenses
- Providing complete documentation to our tax advisor
- End-to-end responsibility for our accounting processes, including optimization and documentation, ensuring compliance and quality
- Managing outstanding receivables (dunning, preparation for debt collection)
- Close coordination with our tax advisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive professional experience in preparatory accounting or financial administration
- High digital affinity and strong proficiency with digital tools
- Structured, independent way of working
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for results
- Availability of 8–10 hours per week, with the possibility to work hybrid from Berlin
