About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Preliminary posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Verification of invoices for formal requirements (in particular VAT law – UStG)
  • Maintenance of open items (OPOS), cash records and travel expenses
  • Preparation and provision of complete documentation for our tax advisor
  • End-to-end responsibility for our accounting processes: optimization and documentation, ensuring compliance and quality
  • Management of outstanding receivables (dunning, preparation for debt collection)
  • Close coordination with our tax advisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive professional experience in preliminary accounting or financial administration
  • Strong digital affinity
  • Structured, independent working style
  • Enthusiasm for ownership and accountability for results
  • Availability for 8–10 hours per week and the ability to work with us on a hybrid basis in Berlin
