Key responsibilities & impact

Demand assessment and materials planning
Obtaining and comparing quotes, placing orders, and checking order confirmations
Schedule monitoring to ensure timely material availability at the plant and on site
Maintaining and developing supplier relationships, including evaluation and coordination in case of deviations
Checking incoming invoices for quantity and price accuracy
Maintaining order parameters in the ERP/inventory management system
Close collaboration with construction management, production, engineering and warehouse
Master data maintenance & data processing
Active communication with suppliers and internal departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
Initial experience in purchasing advantageous, ideally in the construction or timber sector
Structured and independent working style
Strong communication skills and negotiation ability in dealings with suppliers
Confident user of MS Office and ERP systems
