About the role
- Act as a key driver of supply chain performance
- Own and drive sourcing strategies for mechanical and electronic components
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production
- Partner closely with Engineering and other stakeholders
- Step in as Team Lead during parental leave, managing and mentoring team members
Requirements
- 8+ years in Supply Chain Management or Strategic Sourcing within a hardware or manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on experience sourcing mechanical components
- Good understanding of electronic components and PCBA manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with international import/export processes and supply chain flows
- Experience leading or mentoring teams, with the ability to step into temporary leadership roles effectively
- Ability to quickly create impact in a time-bound assignment and balance short-term execution with long-term thinking
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills; fluent in English and German.
