About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create project-specific commercial vehicle configurations, including upfits, conversions and add-ons, within the framework of the overall procurement strategy
- Conduct consultations, needs analyses and benchmarking for our customers and prospects in the area of commercial vehicle procurement
- Obtain, negotiate and technically review purchasing terms and comparative offers from our suppliers
- Lead framework agreement negotiations and support them through to successful conclusion, including cross-departmental coordination
- Communicate internally and externally with specialist departments, our customers and suppliers
- Strategic supplier management (Supplier Relationship Management - SRM)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training; training as a certified automotive or commercial vehicle salesperson (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in light commercial vehicles, passenger cars or vehicle upfit/conversion manufacturers
- Strong affinity for light commercial vehicles / LCVs and special-purpose vehicle solutions
- Structured working style combined with the ability to self-organize, including reporting and documentation skills
- High level of commitment, proactive mindset and working style with a strong sense of responsibility
- Presentation skills and articulate communication, together with a confident and professional appearance
- Enjoyment of and initial experience in negotiation activities
- Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English
