About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create project-specific commercial vehicle configurations, including upfits, conversions and add-ons, within the framework of the overall procurement strategy
  • Conduct consultations, needs analyses and benchmarking for our customers and prospects in the area of commercial vehicle procurement
  • Obtain, negotiate and technically review purchasing terms and comparative offers from our suppliers
  • Lead framework agreement negotiations and support them through to successful conclusion, including cross-departmental coordination
  • Communicate internally and externally with specialist departments, our customers and suppliers
  • Strategic supplier management (Supplier Relationship Management - SRM)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training; training as a certified automotive or commercial vehicle salesperson (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in light commercial vehicles, passenger cars or vehicle upfit/conversion manufacturers
  • Strong affinity for light commercial vehicles / LCVs and special-purpose vehicle solutions
  • Structured working style combined with the ability to self-organize, including reporting and documentation skills
  • High level of commitment, proactive mindset and working style with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Presentation skills and articulate communication, together with a confident and professional appearance
  • Enjoyment of and initial experience in negotiation activities
  • Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English
