About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain the upfit catalog by identifying correct components
- Ensure product compatibility and accuracy
- Create clear technical documentation
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for cataloged products
- Support Sales, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers
- Evaluate new products and vendors for catalog inclusion
- Monitor catalog models for compliance with product applications and processing standards
- Act as a technical liaison between departments
- Participate in technical projects and support continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent manufacturing experience
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Experience leading technical or process improvement projects
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- ASE training or certification is a plus
- Experience interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics is strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or BOM management systems is preferred
- CAD experience is preferred
