About the role
- Act as the central interface between the business, specialist departments, operational units and IT
- Analyze, structure and document business and customer requirements as the basis for functional and technical solutions
- Support demand management by providing functional assessment, prioritization and alignment of requirements
- Actively analyze, design and optimize business processes with a focus on efficiency, quality and customer value
- Provide functional guidance during the implementation of new requirements and coordinate with IT teams during realization
- Contribute to business- and IT-related projects (e.g., digitization, system enhancements, process harmonization)
- Prepare functional concepts, decision documents and documentation for stakeholders and management
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics (Information Systems) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in business analysis, IT project management, process management, functional design or requirements management
- Strong understanding of business processes and their representation in IT systems
- Experience in eliciting, analyzing and documenting functional requirements and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical thinking, strong conceptual skills and a confident manner when interacting with business units and management
- Basic understanding of data, reports or analytics (e.g., basic SQL) is an advantage
- High customer and service orientation as well as strong team skills
- Excellent German and good English skills
