Clerk

• Undertaking regular site inspections to assess quality, workmanship and compliance with project specifications
• Identifying defects, non-conformities and health and safety risks, and monitoring their resolution
• Acting as the go-to for Clerk of Works services in the North-West region, reporting to the service lead
• Producing clear, concise inspection reports and maintaining accurate site records
• Working closely with contractors, consultants and client teams to support effective project delivery
• Collaborating with Hollis Project Managers, Building Surveyors and Fire Safety specialists to provide joined-up advice and assurance
• Supporting quality assurance initiatives and helping maintain the high standards our clients expect

Clerk of Works

Manager

• Responsible for project performance for cost management projects in the region
• With the service head, develop a business plan for the growth of cost management in the region
• Responsible for managing a team of cost managers and developing a recruitment plan with the service head
• Work closely with the regional PM team on project delivery and providing cost management support
• Actively promote the cost management service in the region for the purposes of business development
• Attending site to view project progress and assist in preparation of cost reports and valuations
• Lead in the preparation of pricing documents for tender purposes and support on administering the tender process
• Attend proposed sites to assess abnormal cost impacts and restrictions and support on preparation of cost plans
• Meet target KPIs on work in progress (WIP) management including hours into work in progress (HIW)
• Drive Adherence to Health & Safety procedures
• Responsibility for the teams continuous professional learning

Senior Cost Manager

Engineer

• Create compelling proposals for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Deliver value to clients and solve problems across the property lifecycle and service products, including: Lender due diligence, Planning Gateway One fire statement, Government funding application management and delivery, Building Safety Act Clerk of Works, Construction stage fire risk assessment, Fire safety strategy, Fire and Emergency File.
• Conduct third-party reviews.
• Monitor projects to ensure compliance and quality.
• Develop Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports.
• Perform fire door, compartmentation, and fire stopping surveys.
• Complete EWS1 forms and fire risk appraisals of external walls (FRAEW).
• Manage projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with other services to deliver holistic solutions.
• Engage in business development activities to expand our client base.
