About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to gather, document and analyze business and functional requirements to support initiative definition, solution design, and process improvement and automation
  • Work with stakeholders to clarify and define business problems and opportunities, ensuring initiatives address root causes and deliver measurable value including identifying opportunities for automation where applicable
  • Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, automation and enhance service delivery
  • Conduct feasibility reviews and analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, to support decision-making and prioritization of initiatives
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and working sessions to understand business needs and translate them into clearly defined requirements
  • Develop and maintain process maps, business requirements documentation and supporting analysis to ensure initiatives are well understood prior to delivery, including maintaining full traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support the development of initiative proposals and business cases by providing structured analysis and documentation
  • Conduct system and data analysis to support the evaluation of technology solutions that leverage AI and meet business and stakeholder needs
  • Provide insights and recommendations to all levels of stakeholders throughout the organization to support effective decision making and alignment with portfolio priorities
  • Support usability testing, pilot cycles, user acceptance testing and validation activities to ensure designed solutions meet agreed business requirements
  • Produce clear documentation, analysis and status reports for review and digestion by all levels of stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Conduct impact analysis to assess up and downstream effects of new processes, technology or automation and ensure stakeholder readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Project Management or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, business operation, project management or related field
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation and validation
  • Demonstrated skills in current and future state process analysis and mapping with understanding of process interdependence and cross team handoffs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills that enable you to hear a problem and identify unspoken or nuanced issues
  • Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders to clarify business problems and shape effective solutions
