About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to gather, document and analyze business and functional requirements to support initiative definition, solution design, and process improvement and automation
Work with stakeholders to clarify and define business problems and opportunities, ensuring initiatives address root causes and deliver measurable value including identifying opportunities for automation where applicable
Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, automation and enhance service delivery
Conduct feasibility reviews and analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, to support decision-making and prioritization of initiatives
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and working sessions to understand business needs and translate them into clearly defined requirements
Develop and maintain process maps, business requirements documentation and supporting analysis to ensure initiatives are well understood prior to delivery, including maintaining full traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Support the development of initiative proposals and business cases by providing structured analysis and documentation
Conduct system and data analysis to support the evaluation of technology solutions that leverage AI and meet business and stakeholder needs
Provide insights and recommendations to all levels of stakeholders throughout the organization to support effective decision making and alignment with portfolio priorities
Support usability testing, pilot cycles, user acceptance testing and validation activities to ensure designed solutions meet agreed business requirements
Produce clear documentation, analysis and status reports for review and digestion by all levels of stakeholders throughout the organization
Conduct impact analysis to assess up and downstream effects of new processes, technology or automation and ensure stakeholder readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Project Management or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, business operation, project management or related field
Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365
Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation and validation
Demonstrated skills in current and future state process analysis and mapping with understanding of process interdependence and cross team handoffs
Excellent problem-solving skills that enable you to hear a problem and identify unspoken or nuanced issues
Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders to clarify business problems and shape effective solutions
