Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens in reaching their full potential.
Work one-on-one with clients in their home, school, or one of our welcoming clinics.
Help clients learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors using play, routines, and activities.
Follow personalized therapy plans created by the clinical team.
Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors.
Encourage independence and build everyday life skills.
Conduct sessions primarily 2 - 4 hours each; appointment-based scheduling based on availability.
Coordinate scheduling to minimize commute (clients typically within 20 miles or 30 minutes).
Provide compassionate support; receive training and support from a multi-disciplinary team.
Participate in monthly Registered Behavior Technician group meetings and ABA student meetings where applicable.
Requirements
A high school grad (or above!) who enjoys working with children
At least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure) —supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Someone energetic, patient, and ready to learn
Valid driver’s license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
Willing to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less)
Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities
Bonus Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree
Bonus Qualifications: ABA experience or RBT Certified
Bonus Qualifications: Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, ranging anywhere from non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors, etc.
Bonus Qualifications: Bilingual
Must be available at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 15 hours after 3pm.
