About the role
- Now Hiring: Autism Support Specialist (Entry-Level) — Use ABA to support children and teens;Work 1-on-1 with kids and teens with autism and other developmental needs;Follow a personalized therapy plan created by our clinical team;Use play, routines, and activities to help your client grow;Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors;Encourage independence and build everyday life skills;Celebrate every win—big or small!;Sessions primarily 2–4 hours each;Appointment based scheduling based on availability;Must be available at least 4 days per week, minimum 15 hours after 3pm
Requirements
- A high school grad (or above!) who enjoys working with children;At least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure) —supporting individuals with developmental disabilities;Someone energetic, patient, and ready to learn;Valid driver’s license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance;Willing to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less);Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities;Bonus Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree;ABA experience or RBT Certified;Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors;Bilingual
