Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens in reaching their full potential
Work one-on-one with clients in their home, school, or one of the clinics
Help clients learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors using play, routines, and activities
Follow a personalized therapy plan created by the clinical team
Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors
Encourage independence and build everyday life skills
Celebrate client progress and milestones
Receive thorough training and support from a multi-disciplinary clinical team
Tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, interests, and goals
Sessions primarily 2–4 hours each and appointment-based scheduling
Must be available at least 4 days per week, minimum of 15 hours after 3pm
Work locations include Glendale CA Region (Burbank or Pasadena Clinic), clients' homes, or community locations
Scheduling aims to place clients within 20 miles or 30 minutes of your home to minimize commute time
Requirements
A high school grad (or above!) who enjoys working with children
At least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure) —supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Someone energetic, patient, and ready to learn
Valid driver’s license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
Willing to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less)
Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities
Bonus Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree
Bonus Qualifications: ABA experience or RBT Certified
Bonus Qualifications: Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, ranging from non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors, etc.
