About the role

Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens in reaching their full potential
Work one-on-one with clients in home, school, or clinic settings
Follow a personalized therapy plan created by the clinical team
Use play, routines, and activities to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors
Encourage independence and build everyday life skills
Celebrate client progress and wins
Attend monthly RBT group meetings and ABA student meetings (if applicable)
Sessions primarily 2–4 hours each; appointment-based scheduling
Schedule clients within ~20 miles or 30 minutes to minimize commute
Part-Time role (15–25+ hours per week) with availability requirements after 3pm

A high school grad (or above!) who enjoys working with children
At least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure) —supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Someone energetic, patient, and ready to learn
Valid driver’s license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
Willing to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less)
Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities
Must be available at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 15 hours after 3pm
Bonus Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree
Bonus Qualifications: ABA experience or RBT Certified
Bonus Qualifications: Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, ranging anywhere from non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors, etc.
