Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens in reaching their full potential
Work one-on-one with clients in their home, school, or clinic
Help clients learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors using play, routines, and activities
Follow a personalized therapy plan created by the clinical team
Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors
Encourage independence and build everyday life skills
Celebrate every win—big or small
Attend monthly RBT group meetings and ABA student meetings if collecting supervision hours
Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and mentorship provided by the organization
Schedule and deliver sessions (primarily 2–4 hours each) within ~20 miles or 30 minutes of your home
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (paid or unpaid)
Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
Valid driver’s license, reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
Must be comfortable commuting 20 miles or 30 minutes to client sessions
Passion for working with children, youth, and young adults with developmental disabilities
Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred)
ABA experience or RBT Certified (preferred)
CPR certification in both pediatrics and adults (preferred)
Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, including non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors (preferred)
Must be available at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 15 hours
