Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens with autism and other developmental disabilities
Work one-on-one with clients in their home, school, or clinic and follow personalized therapy plans
Use play, routines, and activities to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors
Encourage independence and build everyday life skills; celebrate progress
Sessions typically 2–4 hours; appointment-based scheduling within ~20 miles or 30 minutes of clinician's home
Receive paid training, RBT certification support, and support from a multi-disciplinary clinical team
Tailor therapy to each client’s needs, interests, and goals
Requirements
A high school grad (or above!) who enjoys working with children
At least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure)—supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Energetic, patient, and ready to learn
Valid driver’s license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
Willing to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less)
Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities
Availability: must be available at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 15 hours; sessions primarily 2–4 hours each; appointment-based scheduling
