Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens in reaching their full potential
Work one-on-one with clients in their home, school, or one of the clinics
Follow personalized therapy plans created by the clinical team
Use play, routines, and activities to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors
Encourage independence and build everyday life skills
Celebrate client progress and adapt therapy to individual needs
Participate in training and receive support from a multi-disciplinary team
Sessions are primarily 2–4 hours each and appointment-based scheduling
Must be available at least 4 days per week for a minimum of 15 hours (Part-Time Afternoons)
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (paid or unpaid)
Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
Valid driver’s license, reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
Must be comfortable commuting 20 miles or 30 minutes to client sessions
Passion for working with children, youth, and young adults with developmental disabilities
Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree
Preferred: ABA experience or RBT Certified
Preferred: CPR certification in both pediatrics and adults
Preferred: Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, including non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors.
