About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent lenders, private equity sponsors, and public and private company borrowers in lending transactions
  • Work on acquisition finance and asset-based lending matters
  • Advise clients on lines of credit for public and private companies
  • Handle syndicated TLA/TLB transactions
  • Work on private credit transactions
  • Handle note purchase agreement private placements
  • Work on sovereign debt financings
  • Advise on bank financing transactions and related UCC matters
  • Interact with sophisticated client teams and build long-term client relationships
  • Contribute to the corporate and finance group and the firm's collegial culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Middle to senior-level associate
  • Significant transactional experience in bank financing transactions
  • Experience with related UCC matters
  • At least three years of directly relevant experience for Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or Silicon Valley offices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with sophisticated client teams
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Membership in the Bar in the United States
  • Resume or CV required
  • Law school transcript or equivalent encouraged
  • Cover letter encouraged
