About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent lenders, private equity sponsors, and public and private company borrowers in lending transactions
- Work on acquisition finance and asset-based lending matters
- Advise clients on lines of credit for public and private companies
- Handle syndicated TLA/TLB transactions
- Work on private credit transactions
- Handle note purchase agreement private placements
- Work on sovereign debt financings
- Advise on bank financing transactions and related UCC matters
- Interact with sophisticated client teams and build long-term client relationships
- Contribute to the corporate and finance group and the firm's collegial culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Middle to senior-level associate
- Significant transactional experience in bank financing transactions
- Experience with related UCC matters
- At least three years of directly relevant experience for Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or Silicon Valley offices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with sophisticated client teams
- Ability to build long-term client relationships
- Commitment to excellence
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Membership in the Bar in the United States
- Resume or CV required
- Law school transcript or equivalent encouraged
- Cover letter encouraged
