About the role
- Review, mark up, and redline customer contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, Order Forms, and other commercial agreements.
- Ensure consistency across all contractual documents and reconcile conflicting clauses when necessary.
- Use track-changes or redline editing tools to provide clear comments and revisions.
- Identify and flag legal or commercial risks, non-standard terms, and ambiguous language for internal review.
- Maintain accurate version control and organize contract drafts for auditability.
- Respond quickly to urgent requests and deliver redlines within tight turnaround windows.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States (on-shore).
- Prior experience as a paralegal or contract reviewer, with hands-on work redlining MSAs, SOWs, and Order Forms.
- Strong understanding of software commercial contract structures and standard clauses.
- High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high daily contract volume (10–15 documents per day).
- Fast responsiveness and reliable availability during periods of high activity.
- Comfort working as a part-time contractor with fluctuating workloads.
