About the role
- Manage casino cashiering, cage, drop, and count room operations; maintain physical safeguards over monies, forms, and records.
- Ensure accuracy of recorded revenue and adherence to company policies, internal controls, and gaming regulations.
- Monitor preparation of daily, weekly, and month-end financial reports; support consolidations and special projects for the Casino Controller.
- Serve as intermediary between Revenue Audit and Cage/Drop & Count; participate in monthly compliance meetings.
- Select, schedule, train, coach, and develop staff; drive engagement and performance.
- Address guest and team member issues with patience, tact, and diplomacy; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Uphold WarHorse’s Mission, Vision, Values, and SPIRIT principles; follow all company safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3–6 years progressive casino finance management experience required
- 2+ years supervisory/leadership and coaching experience
- Expert knowledge of Casino Cash Operations & Compliance; experience with state/federal agencies & gaming regulatory boards
- Advanced Excel; proficiency with SharePoint & Microsoft Office; strong project management skills
- Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License; valid Driver’s License
