Bartender, Part Time

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide prompt, friendly, and professional beverage service to guests.
- Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
- Promote and recommend beverages, cocktails, and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
- Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner while providing beverage recommendations.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service practices.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, federal, and company alcohol service regulations.
- Process beverage transactions, accept payments, and obtain comp authorizations when applicable.
- Balance cash registers and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of bar areas and equipment.
- Properly operate beverage systems, refrigeration equipment, post-mix dispensers, and beer systems.
- Adhere to inventory and stock control procedures.
- Assist in developing beverage specials and promotional offerings.
- Support training and development of beverage team members.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Promote positive guest and team member relations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards at all times.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, casino, nightclub, or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
- Knowledge of craft cocktails and current beverage trends (preferred).
- Previous casino or hospitality industry experience (preferred).
- Bilingual communication skills (preferred).
