About the role
- Safeguard assets and supervise Cage operations to ensure internal control procedures are followed.
- Be vigilant of irregularities and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including federal monetary transaction laws.
- Supervise Cage personnel and Shift Supervisors and ensure proper supervision of all cage activities and records.
- Maintain control and inventory of all currency, coins, checks, related forms, and documents.
- Ensure compliance with gaming controls, company regulations, and internal controls.
- Assist the Cash Operations Manager with evaluation, training, and instruction of Cage personnel and shift supervisors.
- Assist with schedules, timesheet changes, tracking time off requests, and timecard approvals.
- Assist with recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, counseling, and other personnel-related matters.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of internal activities and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Three (3) years of cage experience, with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations pertaining to casino operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
- Ability to work varying schedules and swing shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (physical requirement).
