About the role
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of guests, team members, and company assets.
- Patrol casino/hotel during shift to ensure safety.
- Record investigation and incident reports in a timely manner.
- Provide customer service to guests when needed.
- Assist with the transfer of money and chips from casino floor.
- Maintain casino rules, policies and regulations set by the casino and the NRGC.
- Stand post for extended times as assigned by manager and report day-to-day activities to supervisors/managers.
- Control and diffuse potential problems and assist employees and guests in emergencies.
- Control access to the video lottery facility and restricted areas and respond to back-up calls immediately.
- Prepare reports of significant activities, maintain radio contact with base, attend meetings and training, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a casino resort preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
- CPR Certification.
- Driver’s License.
- Ability to work varying schedules including overnight and swing shifts.
- Ability to stand post for extended times as assigned by manager.
