About the role

  • Responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and growth of integrated service lines across the Carolinas
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team in planning, development, and delivery of complex programs and projects
  • Ensure quality work, on schedule, within budget, and to client satisfaction
  • Oversee financial adherence and key metrics across the group
  • Drive strategic growth, advance client relationships, and lead major pursuits across aviation, transit, and project controls markets
  • Ensure effective coordination of project priorities, staffing, and resource management across the Carolinas
  • Build and develop high-performing teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring staff
  • Collaborate with other groups, offices, and divisions on work-sharing needs
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain department staff within the group
  • Manage assigned project management activities including scope, schedule, budget, and quality management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 12 years of practical experience including 4 years of supervisory experience
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • 15 years practical experience (preferred)
  • 6 years supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification (preferred)
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
