About the role

  • Supports the administration and analysis of employee health and welfare benefit programs
  • Assists with the implementation of plans, programs, policies, and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Supports employee benefit communications and responds to employee inquiries
  • Assists with key processes such as open enrollment, audits, and benefit changes
  • Supports the administration of leaves and accommodations under the direction of the Senior Benefits Analyst
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks related to leave processing
  • Provides day-to-day support to employees and managers by answering questions and guiding them through leave and accommodation processes
  • Assists with the development of employee benefit communications
  • Responds to employee questions and provides backup support to the HR Solutions Center as needed
  • Reviews benefit changes in Workday and approves them according to established rules and policies
  • Performs routine compliance audits and tasks
  • Administers HIPAA compliance training for applicable roles and tracks attendance
  • Compiles and distributes annual notice packets
  • Participates in the annual strategy evaluation of the company’s benefits program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related area
  • In lieu of education, 4 years of benefits experience
