About the role
- Supports the administration and analysis of employee health and welfare benefit programs
- Assists with the implementation of plans, programs, policies, and procedures
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Supports employee benefit communications and responds to employee inquiries
- Assists with key processes such as open enrollment, audits, and benefit changes
- Supports the administration of leaves and accommodations under the direction of the Senior Benefits Analyst
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks related to leave processing
- Provides day-to-day support to employees and managers by answering questions and guiding them through leave and accommodation processes
- Assists with the development of employee benefit communications
- Responds to employee questions and provides backup support to the HR Solutions Center as needed
- Reviews benefit changes in Workday and approves them according to established rules and policies
- Performs routine compliance audits and tasks
- Administers HIPAA compliance training for applicable roles and tracks attendance
- Compiles and distributes annual notice packets
- Participates in the annual strategy evaluation of the company’s benefits program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related area
- In lieu of education, 4 years of benefits experience
