Analyst

• Responsible for accounting, cost, tax and financial calculations and reporting;
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounting and financial accounts, ensuring the integrity of each account;
• Perform monthly and annual closings, ensuring correct classifications according to the nature of expenses and accounting accounts;
• Ensure the determination of results in the Income Statement (DRE) under the accrual basis, and report the Balance Sheet and Income Statement (DRE) to the Board of Directors and shareholders;
• Support periodic internal and external audits;
• Support ad hoc requests and projects;
• Calculate direct and indirect taxes under cumulative and non-cumulative regimes and issue payment slips for taxes (PIS, COFINS, ICMS, IPI, ISS, among others);
• Prepare and submit tax filings and obligations - SPED, GIA, SEDIF, DES, DEFIS, DAS, SINTEGRA, GISS, EDF CONTRIBUIÇÕES, REINF;
• Supervise and support invoice operations (receipt, issuance and cancellation of invoices), providing guidance and corrections as needed;
• Perform the monthly tax close, ensuring the integrity of information, reconciliations and tax analyses;
• Provide internal support on tax and fiscal matters, participate in new projects, perform system setups/registrations and testing for new clients or products;
• Act as the primary contact with suppliers and clients on tax and fiscal matters, and liaise with consultants and tax authorities when necessary;
• Stay updated on municipal, state and federal legislation, always seeking the best tax position for the company and minimizing exposure to risk.
