About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead membership and education campaigns, manages digital channels, supports webinars and training logistics, and delivers performance reporting
- Support campaigns that attract new members and retain existing ones, audience targeting and follow-up.
- Develop and execute lapsed member marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain audience segments for membership campaigns using HL7’s CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Support marketing campaigns that drive registrations for education offerings, certifications, and corporate training.
- Conduct market and audience research to inform education campaign positioning.
- Manage project timelines for courses and education events.
- Prepare post-program reports summarizing participation and follow-up actions.
- Manage the day-to-day social media calendar and maintain HL7 website content.
- Deliver regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 –5 years of experience in a communications and marketing role with hands-on campaign execution; association, nonprofit, or healthcare experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field , or equivalent experience.
- Experience in scheduling and moderating virtual meetings, training , and events.
- Working proficiency with marketing tools: Canva, email marketing/automation platforms (HubSpot, MailChimp, Propfuel ), CRM/ AMS systems, social media schedulers, and Google Analytics.
- Strong copywriting skills .
- A ttention to detail and proven follow-through across multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Comfortable with data — building reports, spotting trends, and turning numbers into recommendations.
- Self-starter who notices what needs doing and takes the initiative to do it, and a team player who shares credit, asks for input, and pitches in when needed.
