About the role
- Design, develop, test, and implement server, client, and web-based applications
- Maintain system readiness to meet client service level agreements (SLA)
- Identify and resolve production issues; support uptime and performance
- Upgrade and maintain systems per business and security requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document solutions
- Develop and review code, specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide high-level design support to ensure accurate translation of business needs
- Guide junior developers, participate in code walkthroughs, and offer mentorship
- Perform detailed unit testing and contribute to overall test planning
- Evaluate tools and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Participate in technical strategy development and project feasibility analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of application design and development experience
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies
- Proficient in: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web Forms, C# REST API, MVC, WCF, IIS
- Oracle and SQL Server
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- SSRS, Windows, and Linux
- Preferred experience with: InRule, Appian, Redis Medicaid systems
