About the role

  • Follow and contribute to Frontend Guidelines (component structure, hooks, testing)
  • Write unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) and contribute to E2E coverage
  • Participate in code reviews that are collaborative by design, AI-assisted, and focused on long-term maintainability rather than gatekeeping
  • Actively shape front-end architecture decisions (migration sequencing, state management patterns, library adoption) with engineers in the room, not handed down
  • Contribute to the shared Design System (styled-components, Storybook)
  • Drive continuous improvement of front-end practices (ESLint, Prettier, TypeScript, etc.)
  • Use AI tooling as a native part of your daily workflow, as the rest of the team already does
  • Participate in product discoveries (FOCUSED Discovery) to challenge specs from a technical feasibility standpoint
  • Propose UX/UI improvements in collaboration with designers
