About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform troubleshooting activities on network devices such as switches and firewalls;
Ensure availability and capacity of information assets through monitoring systems;
Apply patches and firmware updates to appliances and servers;
Handle technical tickets via an ITSM system;
Support information security and infrastructure projects;
Provide support for Windows endpoints;
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security in new projects and implementations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Processing or Systems Analysis;
Fortinet FortiGate Administrator certification 7.2 or higher;
Intermediate or technical-level English;
Experience administering hypervisors in OpenStack clusters;
Experience administering Cisco and Fortinet network devices at OSI layers 2 and 3;
Experience implementing baselines on network devices;
Knowledge of network protocols such as the TCP/IP model, VPN, IPsec and TLS;
Familiarity with security solutions and tools such as NGFW, IPS, IDS and web filtering;
Experience managing mission-critical environments;
Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response, including investigation and implementation of corrective measures on managed devices;
Familiarity with Change Management and Privileged Access Management processes.
