About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform troubleshooting activities on network devices such as switches and firewalls;
- Ensure availability and capacity of information assets through monitoring systems;
- Apply patches and firmware updates to appliances and servers;
- Handle technical tickets via an ITSM system;
- Support information security and infrastructure projects;
- Provide support for Windows endpoints;
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security in new projects and implementations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Processing or Systems Analysis;
- Fortinet FortiGate Administrator certification 7.2 or higher;
- Intermediate or technical-level English;
- Experience administering hypervisors in OpenStack clusters;
- Experience administering Cisco and Fortinet network devices at OSI layers 2 and 3;
- Experience implementing baselines on network devices;
- Knowledge of network protocols such as the TCP/IP model, VPN, IPsec and TLS;
- Familiarity with security solutions and tools such as NGFW, IPS, IDS and web filtering;
- Experience managing mission-critical environments;
- Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response, including investigation and implementation of corrective measures on managed devices;
- Familiarity with Change Management and Privileged Access Management processes.
