About the role

  • Design, develop and configure integrations between SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and external systems using SAP CPI;
  • Use the adapters and connectors available in CPI to ensure effective communication;
  • Perform data mapping between different formats (XML, JSON, IDoc, etc.);
  • Create transformations using XSLT, Groovy scripts and other platform capabilities;
  • Monitor integration flows, identify errors and resolve technical issues;
  • Ensure continuous and stable operation of deployed integrations;
  • Test integration scenarios to ensure quality and compliance with requirements;
  • Validate messages, data and performance of integrations;
  • Document processes, integration flows, configurations and scripts for future maintenance;
  • Create manuals and guides for the technical team and stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, architecture and business teams to understand requirements and deliver appropriate solutions;
  • Participate in meetings and alignments to define scope and priorities;
  • Update integrations according to changes in source or target systems;
  • Adapt flows and configurations to new versions of SAP CPI or integrated systems.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI);
  • Experience in ABAP development;
  • Knowledge of system integration protocols such as SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS;
  • Proficiency with development tools within CPI, including data mapping (XSLT, graphical mapping) and Groovy scripting;
  • Familiarity with API concepts, security and authentication (OAuth, Basic Auth, SSL certificates);
  • Implementation experience for integration scenarios between SAP systems (such as S/4HANA, ECC) and non-SAP systems;
  • Configuration of adapters and connectors in CPI;
  • Knowledge of integration patterns (ESB, EAI);
  • Basic understanding of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) where CPI is hosted;
  • Experience managing packages, artifacts and monitoring integrations;
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in integration flows;
  • Knowledge of monitoring and analyzing logs and errors in CPI;
  • Experience with other SAP integration solutions such as SAP PO/PI;
  • Knowledge of other scripting and programming languages (JavaScript, Java);
  • Knowledge of SAP business processes to understand the impact of integrations.
