About the role

  • Perform enablement, validation, and technical testing of the APIs used by digital channels;
  • Understand business needs and translate them into integration solutions based on APIs;
  • Act as a bridge between the technical team, vendors, and business areas, ensuring technical and functional alignment;
  • Monitor new features of digital channels, assessing impacts on existing integrations and APIs;
  • Monitor the consumption of enabled APIs, analyzing performance and latency, call volume, errors, and behavior across the user journey;
  • Use monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace or similar) to evaluate API availability, errors, and SLAs;
  • Analyze and investigate errors, logs, payloads, and API behavior to support incident resolution;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation: flows, consumption guides, mappings, contracts, and test evidence;
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and technical qualification forums, contributing an integration perspective;
  • Track fixes and API evolutions, ensuring retesting and validation of changes;
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, governance, versioning, and architecture standards;
  • Work with the Apigee platform (API Management) for policy analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support for gateway configurations and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Solid experience with integration and consumption of REST APIs;
  • Proficiency with JSON, HTTP, status codes, headers, and integration patterns;
  • Experience with testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, Swagger/OpenAPI;
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (functional, integration, and regression);
  • Knowledge of software development (ability to read and interpret code: Java, Node.js, .NET or similar);
  • Experience with gateways / API Management and system integrations (Apigee is essential);
  • Experience with system integrations and integration architecture;
  • Strong understanding of API security (OAuth2, tokens, client/secret, certificates);
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace);
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban);
