About the role

  • Elicit requirements from users and business areas for the development of reports and dashboards;
  • Model and organize databases for consumption in Power BI;
  • Develop interactive, visually intuitive dashboards focused on key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Perform ongoing enhancement and corrective maintenance of existing reports;
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and integrity of the data used;
  • Serve as a technical reference for Power BI usage within the organization;
  • Support the team in defining BI standards and best practices;
  • Conduct training, workshops, or guidance sessions on Power BI usage;
  • Work collaboratively with business analysts, data engineers, and managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in the relevant area and/or in software engineering processes;
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, dashboards, data modeling);
  • Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL;
  • Advanced knowledge of relational and multidimensional data modeling;
  • Proven experience building interactive dashboards and management reports;
  • Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) processes;
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into visual and analytical solutions;
  • Strong communication skills to present results to different levels of the organization;
  • Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, advanced Excel);
  • Experience with Azure Data Services, Power Automate, or Power Apps;
  • Knowledge of languages such as Python or R for advanced analyses;
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and access control in Power BI;
  • Experience with CI/CD for BI (using DevOps for reports);
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
