Provide technical leadership for development and engineering teams (cloud, embedded/firmware, networking, data), ensuring best practices, quality, and predictable delivery;
Define and evolve end-to-end IoT solution architecture: device → gateway → connectivity (4G/5G, NB‑IoT, LTE‑M) → platform/ingestion → data lake → APIs/front-ends;
Select and standardize stacks, frameworks, and managed cloud services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, GCP IoT, Kafka, time-series DBs), balancing cost, security, performance, and time-to-market;
Orchestrate the technical roadmap, prioritizing debt, scalability, observability, SRE, and test/CI‑CD automation;
Ensure security by design: device identity, PKI/certificates, TLS, hardening, secure OTA, network segmentation, key management and compliance (LGPD, ISO 27001);
Lead architecture reviews, code reviews and experiments (PoCs) to validate technologies, components and vendors;
Work with business, product and pre-sales teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into clear, feasible technical solutions;
Define SLAs/SLOs, implement end-to-end monitoring (device telemetry, connectivity, platform, APIs) and respond to critical incidents;
Coordinate integrations with partners/ecosystem (OEMs, modules/Cat‑M/NB, eSIM platforms, device management platforms) and with internal systems (BSS/OSS);
Support cost management (FinOps) and optimization of cloud and connectivity consumption;
Develop the team: mentoring, career paths, dissemination of best practices and engineering culture;
Document architectural decisions (ADRs), standards and operational runbooks;
Participate in technical committees and innovation forums, bringing trends (5G SA, edge, eUICC/eSIM, AI at the edge).
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related fields;
Strong experience (5–8+ years) in software/systems engineering and 2–3+ years as a Technical Lead/Architect;
Proven experience with IoT production projects (E2E: device → connectivity → cloud/platform → integrations);
Knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI);
