About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute a strategic territory plan targeting large healthcare providers, payors, and insurers
- Drive net-new logo acquisition and expansion within complex enterprise accounts
- Engage executive stakeholders including CISO, CIO, Chief Risk Officer, Compliance, Audit, and Third-Party Risk leaders
- Lead consultative sales cycles centered on assurance, compliance, third-party risk, and regulatory alignment
- Position HITRUST as a strategic partner for risk reduction and cyber resilience
- Navigate long, multi-stakeholder procurement and security review processes
- Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Alliances to deliver enterprise outcomes
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and deal inspection
- Travel as needed for enterprise customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience
- Proven success selling complex SaaS, cybersecurity, GRC, or risk-based platforms
- Direct experience selling into healthcare providers, health plans, or insurance organizations
- Strong understanding of third-party risk management (TPRM), assurance programs, and compliance frameworks
- History of success engaging senior security, risk, and compliance executives
- Demonstrated ability to close six- and seven-figure enterprise deals
