Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, direct, and oversee large capital expansion and new construction projects
Manage end-to-end design and construction delivery, balancing scope, schedule, and budget
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Focus on project planning, estimating, scheduling, budget development, risk management, and documentation
Address complex project challenges through construction practices and maintaining project controls
Ensure compliance with requirements and support health, safety, and environmental expectations
Serve as a key client contact and escalation point while maintaining stakeholder and vendor relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 15+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated achievements
15+ years of experience in construction and capital projects/programs
Experience delivering construction and capital projects/programs and corporate real estate construction for new facilities and facility modifications, including health, safety, and environmental expectations
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), advanced capability in MS Project or similar tools, and working knowledge of AutoCAD, construction-related tools, and reporting tools that support project oversight
PM or PMP certification preferred.
