About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, direct, and oversee large capital expansion and new construction projects
- Manage end-to-end design and construction delivery, balancing scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Focus on project planning, estimating, scheduling, budget development, risk management, and documentation
- Address complex project challenges through construction practices and maintaining project controls
- Ensure compliance with requirements and support health, safety, and environmental expectations
- Serve as a key client contact and escalation point while maintaining stakeholder and vendor relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 15+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated achievements
- 15+ years of experience in construction and capital projects/programs
- Experience delivering construction and capital projects/programs and corporate real estate construction for new facilities and facility modifications, including health, safety, and environmental expectations
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), advanced capability in MS Project or similar tools, and working knowledge of AutoCAD, construction-related tools, and reporting tools that support project oversight
- PM or PMP certification preferred.
