About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the global focal point for the Power+ Graduate Program, providing expert guidance, consultation, and support to HR teams, managers, and business stakeholders worldwide.
- Drive the successful delivery of the program by ensuring activities are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with global objectives and governance standards.
- Lead and coordinate the team of Regional Program Coordinators, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and driving consistency and program excellence across regions.
- Own and drive the global Early Careers strategy, ensuring alignment between talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, and business priorities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to develop sustainable talent pipelines through graduate programs, internships, apprenticeships, and university partnerships.
- Lead global campus engagement and employer branding initiatives to strengthen Hitachi Energy's positioning as an employer of choice for students and early-career professionals.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities, educational institutions, and external partners to attract diverse talent and support future workforce needs.
- Design and oversee development journeys for early-career populations, including onboarding, mentoring, learning experiences, networking opportunities, and career progression frameworks.
- Develop and continuously improve program standards, frameworks, processes, and participant experiences to strengthen program quality, scalability, and engagement.
- Benchmark external market practices and emerging trends to identify innovative opportunities that enhance the competitiveness and effectiveness of our programs.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across early-career programs, ensuring equitable access to development opportunities and diverse talent attraction strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing new ideas, tools, and methodologies that elevate participant engagement and operational efficiency.
- Lead and contribute to global HR projects and strategic early talent initiatives, supporting the broader People and Organization agenda of Hitachi Energy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Early Careers, Graduate Programs, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, University Relations, HR Program Management, or related HR disciplines
- Proven ability to manage complex global programs involving multiple stakeholders, functions, and geographies
- Experience building and implementing initiatives that strengthen early talent pipelines and workforce succession planning
- Experience working with data, analytics, reporting, and KPI management to support decision-making and demonstrate program impact
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively navigating a highly matrixed, global organization
- Fluent written and spoken English.
