About the role
- Develop project and tender design documents for HVDC and FACTS applications.
- Review customer specifications and identify risks, deviations and opportunities.
- Perform calculations to assess electrical stress, thermal and losses.
- Define control and protection requirements for the valve.
- Perform semiconductor valve simulations and analyze the results.
- Define test requirements in accordance with both internal and external standards.
- Perform the failure investigation and ensure the safety in design.
- Lead design review meetings, technical forums and customer trainings.
- Be a team player and collaborate with other teams.
Requirements
- You have either a Bachelor of Science or a Master of Science in Power Engineering, Electronics, Engineering Physics or equivalent.
- Previous work experience in similar fields is preferable.
- You have good knowledge of engineering tools such as PSCAD, Matlab and Mathcad.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English is required, and Swedish is highly valued.
