About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performing installations as well as preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections and overhauls on power transformers according to internal procedures
Applying and enforcing Hitachi Energy safety standards on all assignments
Planning, coordinating and optimizing field service assignments to ensure efficiency and quality
Advising customers on technical issues and optimization opportunities, and training customer personnel in operating our equipment
Preparing service reports and documentation after each assignment
Continuous training and updating of expertise on our new equipment and technologies
Actively contributing to continuous improvements within the service organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed technical training in mechanics, electrical engineering or a related field (e.g., locksmith, mechanic, polymechanic, automation technician)
Strong sense of responsibility and high awareness of safety requirements
Several years of relevant field service experience in servicing or maintaining large-scale equipment, ideally in the energy sector desirable
Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, welding skills are an advantage
Willingness to undertake longer assignments within Switzerland (minimum 1 week)
Valid driving license category B
Good German language skills, spoken and written, and good English skills. French skills are a plus.
