Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work within the Cambridge team
  • Involve RF measurements of test QUBITs fabricated in Belgium
  • Extensive access to a dilution refrigerator with all measurement equipment for qubit testing and operation
  • Opportunity to travel for short trips to Japan to work with the quantum team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline
  • Prior postdoctoral or industry experience is valuable, but not essential
  • Strong background in quantum dot quantum control
  • Hands-on experience in calibration, benchmarking, or coherent control of qubits is desirable
  • Proven expertise in experimental quantum dot physics for quantum computing
  • Strong proficiency in programming and data analysis, experience of Python is desirable
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • A track record of scientific communication through publications, talks and conferences would be advantageous.
