Junior Business Controller – Service Project
HitachiService Project / Junior Business Controller supporting financial management in Switzerland and Germany. Collaborating with project managers to enhance financial decision-making and performance analysis.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support financial management for Service units in Switzerland and Germany
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, highlighting key deviations and drivers
- Contribute to project controlling activities (cost tracking, margin analysis)
- Partner with Project and Service Managers on financial and commercial topics
- Contribute to project controlling activities (cost tracking, margin analysis, risk monitoring)
- Support project reviews, including identification of risks and opportunities
- Ensure data quality and compliance with internal guidelines and financial standards (e.g. IFRS)
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- First experience in controlling, finance, or similar (internships included)
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in business operations
- Basic knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA is a plus) and strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn in an international environment
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage.
