Head of Digital Operations – Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee digital operations and engineering activities across North America within the services organization
- Guide the execution of digital offerings, engineering processes, and technology delivery
- Establish operational vision, processes, and standards for engineering teams
- Set priorities, performance goals, and accountability for service delivery
- Build and scale an operational model while supporting hands-on execution as required
- Serve as a senior escalation point for digital execution and engineering issues
- Define roadmaps for engineering and digital execution across enterprise platforms
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver digital solutions
- Partner with stakeholders to align digital capabilities with strategic goals
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related technical field
- 15+ years of experience in digital engineering, IT operations, or platform leadership
- At least 5 years of experience managing cross-functional teams
- Experience with digital services and exposure to critical infrastructure or data center operations preferred
- Experience building or scaling operational organizations in a global environment
- Communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills
