About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carrying out installations, commissioning, and maintenance and service tasks on high-voltage systems (e.g., GIS, AIS, circuit breakers, transformers and hybrid systems)
Analyzing and resolving faults and performing technical diagnostics on-site
Implementing retrofit, upgrade, and modernization projects
Ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and quality standards
Preparing technical reports and maintaining clear documentation of service activities
Working closely with our teams and providing competent support and advice to our customers
Training customer personnel in the operation, application, and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power/Energy Engineering, Mechatronics with a focus on electrical engineering, or equivalent
Experience in high-voltage technology, ideally in a field service environment
Knowledge of high-voltage products (e.g., GIS, AIS, transformers or other HV components) desirable
Willingness to travel frequently, nationally and potentially internationally, depending on project specialization and preference
Independent, structured working style and strong problem-solving skills
Customer-oriented demeanor and strong communication skills
Reliable and conscientious execution of service assignments at customer sites
Good German and good English language skills (minimum B2 level).
