Business Process Expert, Engineer to Order
HitachiBusiness Process Expert supporting global digital transformation in the power industry. Collaborating on engineering-to-order processes and optimizing core systems like SAP and MES.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support global digital program implementation by promoting adherence to standardized processes and systems
- Drive effective use and adoption of core tools such as SAP and MES across the organization
- Collect and synthesize business requirements from multiple factories and regions
- Identify process gaps and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Harmonize business processes across hubs and factories to align with global standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and address digital and operational challenges
- Manage and analyze system-related incidents to improve overall performance and user experience
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to support system adoption and knowledge transfer
- Act as a change champion to encourage adoption of harmonized processes and reduce local deviations
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles related to business process management or program implementation in the manufacturing industry
- Experience working with SAP modules SD and PS, with additional exposure to Production Planning or Materials Management
- Proven ability to evaluate complex requirements and incidents, identify patterns, and propose effective solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage stakeholders
- Experience supporting process changes and encouraging adoption of standardized practices
- Fluent English (French is an asset)
